Every ingredient in our soap recipe has a purpose. Rather than relying on one inexpensive base oil, we've chosen a carefully balanced blend of plant oils and butters. Each contributes something unique from creamy lather and skin conditioning to bar longevity and luxurious feel. Our base recipe always includes:Grapeseed Oil (Vitis Vinifera) - Lightweight, antioxidant-rich, fast absorbing.
Chosen because it's lightweight and antioxidant rich, leaving skin feeling silky rather than heavy.
Castor Oil (Ricinus Communis) - Creates creamy bubbles and conditions the skin.
Included for it's ability to create a rich, creamy lather.
Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera) - Gently cleanses while producing a rich lather.
Selected for effective cleansing and abundant bubbles, then balanced for a gentle cleanse.
Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii) - Deeply moistening and protective.
Selected for it's exceptional moisturizing and skin conditioning properties. Rich in natural occurring fatty acids and vitamins, it helps create a creamy, luxurious bar that leaves skin feeling soft, nourished, and comfortable after ever wash.
Mango Butter (Mangifera Indica) - Vitamin-rich for soft, supple skin.
It's rich vitamins and antioxidants while feeling lighter than many traditional butters. It helps soften and condition the skin, contributing to a silky, luxurious cleansing experience without feeling heavy.
Kokum Butter (Garcinia Indica) - Helps restore skin elasticity and lock in moisture.
For it's exceptional firmness, stability, and skin conditioning properties. Naturally rich in beneficial fatty acids, it helps create a long lasting bar while leaving skin feeling soft, smooth, and deeply nourished. It's lightweight, non greasy feel makes it the perfect complement to our premium blend of butters and oils, creating a luxurious cleansing experience with every use.
Lye (Sodium Hydroxide) - The natural catalyst that transforms oils and butters into soap. (None remains in the final product).
Distilled Water (Aqua) - Ensures purity and consistency in every batch.
