Founder's Story

I am Tanya Galbiati. I am the creator behind Purely Pampered Essentials.

Growing up in Regina, Saskatchewan I lived through the harsh winters of the 1970s and 1980s. I learned firsthand how tough those winters  could be on skin and hair. Regina is also known for having the hardest water in North America. Sometimes that left its mark on my skin from a young age. Now living in Calgary, Alberta, I've faced another challenge - dry air at a high altitude, which is equally harsh on the skin.

My inspiration also comes from two generations., My mom and my grandson. My mom is 71 and has aging, dry, and thinning skin, and as I prepare to welcome my first grandchild I'm reminded of how important it is to create products that are safe, gentle, and pure enough for the most delicate skin.

I watched a loved one in our family struggle with eczema and sun sensitivities. Seeing her challenges made me realize how limited we are in body care and how harsh many skincare products on the market really are. I wanted to create something better - natural, soothing, and safe for even the most sensitive skin.

From those inspirations Purely Pampered Essentials was born. Every product is made in small batches here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, using 100% natural, vegan ingredients, and scented only with pure essential oils. No artificial fragrances - just the goodness of clays and botanicals that nurture the skin.

Our Mission

Purely Pampered Essentials crafts naturally luxurious vegan body care beginning with soaps made in small batches using premium clays, botanical infusions, oils, butters, and essential oils. Every bar is 100% natural, vegan, and cruelty free, scented only with pure essential oils. Never with artificial fragrance. Our mission is to bring honesty, simplicity, and sustainability to body care, empowering self-care for every stage of life.
